"I've been using RO Writer software for about 6 years now and have witnessed the programs ongoing development first hand. What started out as a very good program has now blossomed into the finest software a garage owner could install. From 'write up' to 'bill out', the program is easy to use.
Any report I wish to run is at my fingertips. As an owner I enjoy the export feature that allows me to take data from RO writer to Excel. Any way I want to look at the data I can. I also opted to install Activant software so we could control what parts we purchased and easily compare pricing between vendors. I've been very pleased with the seamless integration of the two programs.
I wish this software were around when I was at the counter! It can't get any easier! No longer do you have to depend on the kid at the parts store to look up the right part. I just order what I want and the invoice comes out of their printer. Since Activant & Smart E Cat were installed we've almost stopped calling for parts. Now that we can see our cost at many vendors all on one screen, I've watched my overall cost of parts go down. That's a good thing!
Any program I could have purchased would only be as good as the support that is needed. Holly has been fantastic! It still amazes me when she logs into my computer and installs and update or adds a new machine to the network. It's almost like magic. It allows me to run my shop without becoming a computer geek."
